• 1949 Born | Nairobi Kenya to English and Hungarian Parents. 4th Generation of show business
• 1954 | Began cello at age 6
• 1958 | Won Kenya Music Festivals. First National newspaper appearance, Press East African Standard
• 1954-1963 | General school education
• 1967 | Arrived in Australia - family migrated
• 1986 | Sydney Conservatorium Music with eminent cellist John Painter AM: cello studies
• 1970 | Principal cello in Australian Youth Orchestra. Solo recitals for ABC Radio's ”Young Australia”
• 1971 | Freelance extra with Sydney Symphony Orchestra
• 1972 | Joined Melbourne Symphony Orchestra: permanent post
• 1975-77 | Principal cello soloist for Australian Ballet/Opera Orchestra Melbourne
• 1977 | Moved to London and joined London Symphony Orchestra under André Previn
• 1977 -1984 | Played with London Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Mozart Players, National Philharmonic Orchestra. Solo recitals: St Martin In-The-Fields church and famous lunchtime concerts. Worked extensively in major recording studios: Abbey Road, CTS Wembley, Olympic Barnes. Worked on Major Albums with Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Elton John
• 1978 | Solo cello for André Previn his musical stage theatre, "Every Good Boy Deserves Favor" - Dave was awarded an accolade by André Previn for his performance.
• 1978-1984 | Extensive wide kaleidoscope of work in concerts, film, recording studios, and jingles - especially with the famous National Philharmonic Orchestra
• 1984-86 | Solo Cello - "CATS" production in Sydney - played to a crowd of 850 with no absences, which appeared on various TV programs, including Clive Robertson Channel SEVEN and the ABC weekend program.
• 1987 | Founded Australia's first private enterprise professional orchestra, The National Arts. Recorded "Debut" album for Polygram via Philips label. Broke the story by  The Australian's Andrew Urban. Had EMI recording sessions filmed by Channel Nine's news reporter Mike Hamilton.
• 1988 | Nominated for "Best Classical Album” at the ARIA Awards. Orchestra performed at World EXPO in Brisbane, Irving, and Berlin for the 100th Birthday.  Produced the concert theatre show to an audience of 12,000. Granted the Excellence Award by EXPO. 6 "Debut" album concerts branded with QANTAS, which resulted in huge national media attention across1988 and 1989. This included appearances on Channel Nine's Ray Martin Show, and interviews with Alan Jones, plus various ABC presenters.
• 1991 | Produced alongside full orchestra with guest singers Debbie Byrne, David Atkins, and Normie Rowe. Worked with the 35 piece National Arts Orchestra, and appeared at the IBM Asia Convention, the Gold Coast Hilton, Hobart Sheraton, Mirage, QANTAS Travel convention, and the Australian Grand Prix BALL Adelaide “60s Theme concert show”. Produced Magic of The Great Classics - Sydney Opera House
• 1992 | Returned to London to pursue solo career and study with world-renowned cellist Christopher Bunting CBE. Released "Debut" Album internationally via Pickwick Records
• 1992-1998 | Toured UK/Europe solo recitals
• 1999 | Founded own record label, "Safari In Classics" out of London
• 1999-2011 | Extensive retail venue signings and tours around UK such as CD sales. Two thousand performances across WHSmith/HMV/Sanity music stores.
• 2004 | Booked Royal Albert Hall, London for concert. This garnered a massive national/international media response, across all major London newspapers, ITN, BBC Lunchtime news, Reuters, ABC and CNN. Created a National "cult following" with his album sales, as they exceeded 400,000 units. Enjoyed numerous radio interviews and airplay on BBC Regional and Radio
• 2002 | Produced "Safari In Classics 2" with arranger Graham Preskett (Billy Connolly)
• 2004 | Produced "Safari in Classics 3" with English Session orchestra, arranger Geoffrey Burgon (of Brideshead Revisited TV series fame)
• 2009 | Produced "At The Movies" album via Pinewood film studios
• 2011 -2019 | Returned to Sydney for respite, offered signing to Ambition      Entertainment with re-release of catalogue: Romance of the Cello 2 CD, At The Movies, Classical Cello, The Beatles and Friends. Touring retail venues such as Westfield shops and ABC centres live via "pop up displays/performances" across all capital cities. Extensive interviews and radio airplay via ABC Classic FM and community radio stations
• 2019 | Produced "James Bond: The Essential Music Themes" album
• 2021 | COVID respite. Completed a book: Biography "I Am Cellist" for national distribution
• 2022 | Signing to prestigious global music company Blue Pie Music
