Dave Loew is an accomplished cross-over classical and contemporary cellist, with a diverse career including solo appearances in Star Wars, The Shining and CATS.

Dave speaks about:

• His extensive music career worked with the illustrious London, Melbourne and National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestras, as principal cellist with the Australian Ballet and Opera. Solo cellist working with conductor Andre Previn.

• Creative Producer and Soloist for over 265 works, now available on Spotify and all major platforms

• Independent Producer – Dave set up Australia’s first commercial symphony orchestra, The National Arts Orchestra, acclaimed across Australia and which performed at Brisbane Expo, and Formula One, and attracted sponsors such as Qantas, IBM, International Motor Show/SAAB, Sheraton Hotels, Roland.

• Film Scores – Dave performed on The Elephant Man, Jaws 1, Superman 1, Star Wars 1, The Shining film scores, and many others.  He has wonderful stories from these performances and of working with major stars on the stage and screen.

• Mental Health – Dave has experienced Bi-Polar disorder and talks about managing mental health with creative expression, determination, and perseverance.

• Family Story – Dave comes from 4 generations – a dynasty of famous show business performers.
